The four-piece’s debut album Riot of Sound received Album of the Week at Rough Trade last year and album of the day on Q. GIL DE RAY supported Dr John Cooper Clarke recently and toured in Japan and the US supporting Little Barrie.
GIL DE RAY are: Mikey Buckley (Desert Ships) on guitar, Jody Moroney on drums, Dr. Paco on bass, and singer, Gil De Ray, originally from Glasgow, a prolific writer and artist, who’s recorded John Martin, and others.
INCANTATIONS was recorded and mixed at Lovebuzz Studios.

Gil has two other projects currently in production: DREAM PIRATE with Pat Whelan (Bella Union), kinda Devendra Banhart/Isaac Hayes/folk raw…And FOCKE-WULF, a more electronic project, with Parisian/Helsinki habitee, Benjamin Goursot.
